I've just returned from the Middle Ages and I can confirm this is exactly what it was like. There were bandits with cannons constantly besieging the castle (which always seemed to have the most questionable design choices), and the king had an utterly insufferable laugh. I may have loyally served my lord as a castle engineer, but I cheered when the bandits finally toppled him off his tower. And then I got back into my time machine. The Middle Ages sucked. HAW HAW HAW\/10. Would royally tumble again.. fun lil game, defo worth a look
