About This Game What is Hectic?Hectic is an arcade First Person Shooter that throws the player back into the roots of the classic FPS genre. Hectic offers a sub-section of game modes; all of which include a different but enjoyable experience. With free content updates and all of the possibilites that Hectic will bring in the future, this game offers MUCH replay value.Gameplay:Hectic includes 4 game modes, filled with countless enemies and bosses; all of which are unqiue and act differently. It's nearly impossible to effectively strafe as everytime you change directions your character will become unresponsive. Requiring you to stop trying to move in order to move again. You'll consistently get caught on objects in the enviroment. This, and the FOV are my primary complaints. Even on max FOV it still hurts my eyes and makes me feel like I'm way too close. The actual gameplay is just too linear and bland to justify playing when you note those issues. The map design is simple, the enemies aren't challenging at all. Despite the price, I just can't really justify spending my money on this.. The controls are unresponsive.
